SUMMARY

The Director, Client Solutions is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, creating high value opportunities through external networking and client interactions, and managing the end-to-end sales process from prospecting to closing sales.

To be successful in this role, you must be proactive with an insatiable desire for success, possess strong networking ability, and have proven successful sales track record in new business development/ existing client development in market research.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and execute strategies to implement lead generation initiatives.
  • Identify new clients/ business opportunities by prospecting new strategic accounts, develop long-term relationships with clients, present Leger capabilities, respond to RFPs, prepare proposals in collaboration with the research team, negotiate contracts and close deals, share new market trends and insights.
  • Identify existing high revenue clients and lead the internal strategy to increase year over year sales of those accounts, including finding new opportunities with current clients, navigating path for introductions/referral and arranging follow-up meetings. For high growth potential clients, discuss the project experience, resolve issues and identify upsell opportunities.  

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree or certificate in marketing or other relevant experience 
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in consultative sales approach, in the market research industry 
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as Market Research Professional in the market research or strategic consulting industry; Data, VOC services background, Online Communities background, an asset
