The Director, Business Development is responsible for driving revenue growth for Cube AI by identifying new business opportunities, cultivating strategic partnerships, and expanding the company’s client base. This role involves overseeing the full business development lifecycle—from lead generation and relationship-building to proposal development and deal closure. The Director works closely with marketing, product, and leadership teams to align go-to-market strategies with organizational goals and ensure consistent pipeline growth.
This role requires the ability to think strategically while executing tactically. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, excellent communication and negotiation skills, along with a proven track record of securing high-value deals and building long-term client relationships. To be successful in this role, the Director must be proactive, results-oriented, and navigating the challenges of introducing emerging products to the market.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Identify and secure new business opportunities across agencies, brands, and media organizations by clearly communicating Cube AI’s unique value proposition in attention and emotion measurement for advertising.
- Build and maintain strategic relationships with senior decision-makers in marketing, insights, and creative roles, acting as a trusted advisor on how Cube AI’s insights can optimize campaign performance.
- Collaborate with internal teams (Product, Marketing, and Research) to tailor solutions that address client challenges and demonstrate how Cube AI’s benchmarks and technology drive better ad outcomes.
- Own the E2E sales pipeline from prospecting to close, including lead generation, proposal development, contract negotiation, and handoff to client success.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or a Related Field.
- 5 years’ experience as Advertising Technology or Marketing Technology Sales in advertising, media, or marketing industry selling to agencies.
- Proven track record of closing high-value deals with agencies, brands, or media platforms, with experience handling large-scale transactions and building long-term client relationships, including multi-test agreements and high-impact partnerships.
- 3 Years’ experience with CRM & Sales Tools like HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar tools to manage pipelines, track engagement, and report on KPIs.

- Strategic Sales & Negotiation Skills: Skilled at establishing trust and rapport with the ability to build and execute account strategies that align with Cube’s growth goals, driving qualified leads through the full sales funnel.
- Market Insight & Business Acumen: Deep understanding of advertising trends, creative performance metrics, and the value of emotion and attention data in campaign optimization.
- Excellent communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to distill complex technologies into clear, compelling value propositions and speak credibly about creative performance, campaign measurement, and marketing ROI.
